I am preparing an analytical report on the political and economic state of Bangladesh with advisory insights for the current interim government. This report is intended to be published as a YouTube video.
Over the past 53 years, many governments have come to power in this country—BNP, Awami League, Jatiya Party, the post-independence Mujib government, and some interim governments. However, in the last 15 years, a despotic regime has utterly destroyed our nation.
Our economy, political stability, justice, and the fair pricing of essential commodities have all been devastated. During these 15 years, all national institutions have been dismantled. Those who have sacrificed their lives, worked tirelessly, written online, or taken to the streets to overthrow this monstrous authoritarian government must be included as advisors in the interim government.
The primary advisor to the head of the interim government is Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Under his leadership, it is essential to involve dedicated individuals who have been fighting against this authoritarian regime for 15 years. Their advice, intelligence, and wisdom are of critical importance at this moment.
Notable figures among these fighters are Pinaki Bhattacharya, journalist Elias Hossain, and Kanak Sarwar. They have been and continue to be active in the country's struggle through various platforms.
In the 53-year history of our nation, our neighboring country, India, has repeatedly acted as a foe disguised as a friend. They have only protected their interests while undermining our sovereignty. India can maintain business and foreign relations with us, but there is no room for friendship.
Sheikh Mujib’s daughter, Sheikh Hasina, sold our sovereignty to India to avenge her father’s assassination. She has even claimed, “What I have given to India, they will never forget.”
Those who fought against this monstrous Hasina regime, including Pinaki Bhattacharya, Elias Hossain, and Kanak Sarwar, deserve special mention.
On August 5, 2024, the country’s students, through bloodshed, overthrew this fascist regime. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, along with these students, formed an interim government. Subsequently, intellectuals and experts from various sectors of the country were included in the advisory council.
However, the influence of pro-Indian and pro-Hasina collaborators still persists in the country's politics. Media outlets like *Prothom Alo* and *The Daily Star* and certain political parties represent these collaborators.
What we need now is patriotic, honest, and intelligent leadership. Under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the interim government must act swiftly to create an environment conducive to fair elections.
This script will incorporate the struggles of Bangladesh’s impoverished, oppressed, and deprived people, particularly those who have suffered looting, murder, and the loss of dignity. It will highlight the consistent oppression faced by the Bengali society since 1971, especially after the 1952 Language Movement.
However, the focus must remain on the atrocities of the past 15 years under Sheikh Hasina, who sold our sovereignty to India and led a regime of destruction.
The script will shed light on the current need for Dr. Muhammad Yunus's decisive leadership, emphasizing how the interim government is surrounded by collaborators and enemies of the state. It will discuss what actions should be taken against these traitors.
Bangladesh is a poor nation, with most people living in rural areas. These are the true and majority population of Bengal. On the other hand, there exists an opportunistic elite society, often characterized as self-serving looters and manipulators. The simplicity and emotional intelligence of ordinary people must be emphasized to connect with the audience deeply.
The script must incorporate the long history of oppression and deprivation of the Bengali people, utilizing emotional intelligence to highlight the struggles of the poor and marginalized. It will contrast the atrocities of the fascist Hasina regime with 15,000 years of oppression to create a powerful narrative.
Ultimately, the report aims to be a heartfelt appeal to the interim government.
The report will begin with the pride, heritage, and pain of the nation. It will narrate how each successive government has exploited the country, caused suffering, and engaged in disappearances, murders, and oppression.
Midway through, the devastation caused by misrule will be described in an emotional yet factual manner. It will provide strategic directions for the interim government to prevent a repetition of such atrocities and highlight the horrors of the 15-year regime of Mafia Fascist Hasina, including:
1. Lawless administration
2. A regime built on ignorant and murderous individuals
3. Arbitrary disappearances and murders
4. Destruction of all institutions
5. Erosion of the rule of law
6. Filling the administration with party loyalists and criminals
7. Massive embezzlement and money laundering through large projects
8. Misrepresenting the nation globally as a radicalized society
9. Mocking and exploiting the general public
This comprehensive analysis will culminate as an appeal to the interim government to act with urgency and decisiveness.
